Employer Responsibility

An employer has a responsibility to:
• Keep a register of work-related injuries and serious harm.
• Record every incident that harmed or might have harmed an employee at work or any other person in the workplace.
• Investigate all recorded accidents, harm, or near misses.
• Report serious harm that occurs to employees at work to Department of Labour.
